Atlanta DJ Greg Street Comes Under Attack-
His Payola Hustle Gets Blown Up

For those who don't know how the music industry works, pay close attention to what this man Trapp is saying.
As you listen, ask yourself, why aren't station licenses being pulled? Why aren't hefty fines being administered? Why are listeners still being subjected to corporate dominated media who play the same ole tired ten songs without any checks and balances? Why can't local indy artists get a break on publicly owned airwaves? Isn't payola illegal?

I don't know this dude called Trapp: The Mic DVD or something like that but now he is responding to Greg Street's attack on Jermaine Dupri.
Lord Je, we all know what this is REALLY about and the three of them are now opening up an industry back room to the world? I must admit, out of the three, Dupri chose his words very carefully and made his point. Then Greg, who took it personal and it was obvious, took it to another level, now Trapp is telling another side to the saga.

Bottom line for those of us who are vets. Jermaine didn't do something for Greg and/or Greg didn't do something for Jermaine and both feel slighted. Now Trapp is saying in the MOST blatant way that Greg hasn't done something for him or at least some people he knows. The other day, I got an email from a girl who use to work for Jermaine's restaurant who said she had to run to cash her checks. Some things, my industry vets, about the industry... NEVER change. A friend told me that DJs are now like programmers... and the arrogance and demand for.... "things" is out of control...
