I don't think that we should be worried about the money that P is making, more as we should be worried about the content that he will be bring to our community. He never said he wasn't getting paid. It takes a lot of money to start a network. I do not expect him not to get paid. What I expect is with the socially responsible board members that he has, he is trying to create a change in the mentality of our people. aight cosmonaut...ask yourself THIS question. how many other nonprofit tasks could p miller be involved in that would do just as much ..if not more for his hometown/ the mississippi valley/ american ghettos/ the underprivileged villages of africa? you cant really think he just decided out of the kindness of his heart he wanted to start up a network. P is a businessman first and foremost..he saw a need and jumped on it like any good investor would. BOTTOM LINE.

Stop the nonsense. If P wanted to "cake up" a little more he could do so much easier by adding more of the same bullshit that you watch already. I too respect Master P tremendously for the intelligence and growth he demonstrates. We need more like him.

int, You may be right with P being the next Bob Johnson. But my point was that unlike Jay and Russell, P has apologized for the role that his music has done in poisoning our people and culture, not only publicly, but also to Congress. He had made efforts to make family friendly rap albums, and had some TV exposure with his son. He also stepped out of his comfort zone too. Id be more enthused about this if P wasnt the face on our new BET. I can respect him as a sponsor or supporter of the campaign for better media for black folks.. but as the actual chairman Im not convinced that hes doing this for any reason besides a chance to cake up a lil more.

P made MILLIONS off of vulgar music and movies and took advantage of the talent that outshined him on his label to build an empire. People do change but does this mean that 10 years from now we'll place...
