carry yourself differently. Ice at this stage of his career needs to be an elder statesman who is available to help guide those who are coming up behind him.

Bottom line is most of what is pushed to the masses as hiphop is used as a tool of genocide on afrikan people. if it's true on what soldier boy's

Ice T made the radio come to him. That was his point. Then, he pushed the envelope further and further. Started doing punk rock, "cop killa". His
hip hop stayed raw. He's trying to let these younger rappers know that the radio is killing hip hop, and they're just helping it. As far as telling
Soulja boy to "eat a d**k?" Whatever gets the point across. Call it tough love.

Why can't Soilder Boy be ridiculed for what he passes off as Hip Hop? When did it become wrong for a legend to state the wrongs in a culture he helped
build. Would it be more excepted if it came from Rakim or KRS?

This is what is wrong with Hip Hop!!! Ice T has more than a right to come at Soilder Boy for the bs that he is feeding our kids. I mean would you want your
daughter to get supermaned by some dude she is dating? Or would you rather he supersoaked her? How about if she...

Now of course Ice-T carrying legitimate O.G status out L.A could see if the Souljah is really in the Boy, but it's not that deep. Plus I don't think he
would want to be re-enacting his own work on Law and Order.

What I see interesting about this one is that it shows the alienation between the generations of black males. You don't see this sort of generational
animosity among other artistic sub cultures. I think it is very reflective of the situation in the community with...

Rap music IS this serious. Its so serious that the likes of rupert murdock want to trivialize it or use its immense power to convert its adherents and
listeners into trivial individuals. Easier to scatter about into a million mindless beefs. Rap music is VERY serious. Its a global phenomenon that gives the
grandchildren of Americas enslaved forefathers, an epic group in and of themselves, a voice that is heard throughout the world eventually uniting the diaspora.
This is what they fear. This...

What up Peoples,
Ice T really needs to quit while he's ahead. The more he speaks on this situation, the worse he makes himself look. And what's up with him putting his
16-year-old son on the end of the "apologetic" video to tell Soulja Boy to eat a dick? That makes the "apology" null and void.

He's telling Soulja Boy to respect his elder statesmen but Ice is acting like he's even younger than Soulja. I agree with Soulja telling Ice to...
