Aside from Nas' right to express his view on the word etc I find it interesting that Universal Entertainment gave this whole album a go while Preventing Young Buck from releasing a police brutality song. I have much respect for what you have written in the past, and I think there is validity to what your saying. I agree that whatever the intentions, it's not a good thing if the end result is making people more comfortable using the word, when they should be less so.

Hearing the first leaked track, he seems to be actually questioning why people of all races throw the N word around. Could it therefore be that he is just being ironic with the title? Kudos to you NY Oil. I had mixed feelings about the song. Its no excuse to what he's doing although I can try and conjure a few since I'm such a fan of Nas' music.
